Fun inn Taipei Hostel is located between Taipei Main Station and Ximending Business District. It takes about 13 minutes to walk from the hotel to Taipei Main Station, and about 6 minutes to walk to Ximending Business District. Travelers from all over the world can also take the Airport MRT to Taipei Main Station, The hotel is easily accessible from MRT Ximen Station, MRT North Gate Station, Taipei Transfer and other places. There are also electronic personal lockers for storing personal belongings, and there are beds beside the beds so that passengers can have a comfortable space. With an independent tube base, the stepped stairs are reinforced and stable, making getting in and out of bed safer. There are comfortable sofas, large TVs, projectors, computers, laundry equipment and simple kitchens. Good location nearby Ximending Night Market around 450 meters from Xiamen Station. All staff can communicate in English and sincere friendly manner.

This hostel is best to those solo traveller, I can recommend it to them. However, I could say that I slept well. The bed is soft and the linens are clean. I am together with my sister when we booked a bed here, I shared bed with her. The bed is spacious though. Near Ximending area. Food stalls are besides the hostel.

Homey space, quite tight with all the people inside and only 2 public bathroom on 2nd floor. Anyway the guest have to manage using it very well.
I admired about how the location of hotel is so close to ximen and just 10 minutes walk to airport train station, just right to say that this hotel location is super convenience. Another thing is I’m having really goodnight sleep for the whole 4 nights. The other guest has respect the rules and manners, everyone has keep the noise low and I’m very happy with it.

Pros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature.
Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

The best location, it's close to MRT and easy to find. The room was clean and I really loved the toilet in the room, it's convenient for taking a bath. The buck was comfortable and soft. The landlord is also nice and can store the language overnight by paying more.

Will never come back. Room was squeezy and smelly. Dirty. It was so packed with people. I couldn’t stand it. Regretted the minute I checked in. Wanted to cancel and get a refund, but was not allowed. Had to put my luggage outside near the reception as there were no space. 1 toilet shared by so many people.

Fun Inn is always my go-to hostel/inn whenever I visit Taipei. Close to the transportation but not to the crowd so I always feel safe in this inn. Of course, Ill be back again. 😅

Unfortunately when i stayed there, the room smell so bad because of other guests i think, bathroom is very limited, only 1 on each room and there is only 1 public bathroom on the 6th floor, good thing is the location is very good near ximending and taipei main station

The hostel looked a bit older. There were some hairs on the sheets when I arrived. The common room is in the basement and isn’t so cozy. I saw a very big coackroach there. Overall the hostel is OK but for the steep (weekend) price I would not recommend it.
